When U2 spilled out on the streets of Las Vegas with ‘Still haven’t found what I’m looking for’ in glorious spontaneity, I, as an awestruck youngster, failed to register the question raised by the contrast of the song title with an absolutely blissful Bono dispensing vocals like the gospel to mesmerized strangers. But over the years, as the awe withered, the question ‘What the hell is he so happy about if he still hasn’t found what he’s looking for’ registered. The answer was to take a lot longer but absolution was eventually found in alleyways behind the façade of experience – that it’s the uncut gems you find while you ‘Still haven’t found what you’re looking for’ – that’s what made him happy!!
Indulge me in sharing what we found while we still haven’t found what we’re looking for!! Instinctively Private, Deservingly Reserve and yet (ultimately) spontaneously sharable – The Lot-I – Final addition to the Private reserve!
The Private Reserve Lot-I is a Darjeeling Second flush harvested from the old Chinese bushes. Most Definitely on the deep end of the Second Flush Valley! Unabashed in its notes of Muscatel, Ripe fruits and Flowers with a Reddish-Orange Liquor when brewed, it’s heavy enough make you pay heed to your slouch, literally or otherwise! (When it cools down a bit, it’s peculiarly reminiscent of rosewater.)
Plucking consists of a mix of large and young leaves with tips. We suggest only a single brew although the second brew might appeal in its own way.
So, here’s to U2 and to things ‘found’ while you still haven’t found what you’re looking for. Happy brewing!!
