Akin to the Bai mudan, the amount of Leaf Hair in this Darjeeling Tea is readily noticable. This is a mildly oxidised First Flush White Tea. Amongst the first plucked leaves of first flush season, only the best tippy leaves are selected to yeild this tea. Plucking is mostly in the two leaf and a bud style and has not gone through any induced oxidation. Mild natural oxidation happens in the making process. Teas have been very gently and very slightly handrolled giving it a very unique favour profile.
Fruitiness is quite prominent accompanied by floral – orchids- honey notes. The creaminess is quite apparent with no astringency.
