A very high quality darjeeling Second Flush Black Tea, roasted in the same fashion as Eastern Asian countries. Leaves have been heat treated 3-4 times at very high temperatures to give it a rich and complex flavour profile. The tea has been harvested at around 4000ft from the old Chinese bushes which were planted by the British.
Right from when you smell the dry leaves you will find so many aromas to keep you gripped. Nutty – chocolate – citrus – ripe fruits – muscatel notes and more. The brew is dark red with a long and intense finish. Very refreshing.
Brewing instruction – 2.5gms of tea with 200ml water at 90degrees Celsius steeper for 3min.
